John Talley
President
John serves as President of ProLiance Holdings, an energy related holding company, and President of ProLiance Energy and ProLiance Transportation and Storage, its largest subsidiaries. ProLiance Energy is an Indianapolis based marketing and trading company that serves over 1,600 customer locations across 15 states and provides commodity and services to numerous municipalities and utilities. ProLiance Transportation and Storage owns and operates natural gas pipelines and storage facilities including White River Storage and the Ohio Valley Hub, and interests in Heartland Gas Pipeline, Lee 8 Storage, and LA Storage. John provides leadership to the executive team, manages strategic planning, and pursues future growth opportunities.

John became President of ProLiance Holdings in March, 2007, upon its formation. He has been President of ProLiance Energy since 1998, after serving previously as Vice President - Gas Supply for the company, where he oversaw supply operations, risk management and trading, negotiation of transportation and supply contracts, and regulatory affairs.

In 1996, John was one of the founding officers for ProLiance Energy. Prior to joining ProLiance, John served in a variety of positions at Indiana Energy, Inc. affiliate companies, including Vice President, Gas Supply at Indiana Energy Services, and previously Director of Gas Supply for Indiana Gas Company (IGC). As Assistant Counsel for Regulatory Affairs at IGC, he developed federal regulatory strategy and represented the company in hearings before the Federal Regulatory Commission (FERC) and the U.S. Court of Appeals on matters pertaining to FERC rule makings and interstate pipeline rate and tariff changes.

Prior to joining IGC, he practiced law with Barnes and Thornburg in Indianapolis. John holds a J.D. from the Indiana University School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude, and a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from Indiana University.

John currently serves on the board of directors for the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, Indiana Manufacturers Association, and the Indianapolis 500 Festival.

Terry Peak
Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
Terry is responsible for overall day-to-day operations of ProLiance Holdings and ProLiance Energy, which includes supply and transportation operations, marketing, human resources, information technology, and business development. He also serves as Vice President of ProLiance Transportation and Storage and President of the ProLiance Transportation and Storage — Heartland Pipeline subsidiary. Terry represents ProLiance as the voting member of our Lee 8 Storage, Heartland Pipeline, and LA Storage partnerships. He brings more than 28 years of experience in the natural gas industry, primarily in marketing, supply, operations, and engineering.

Terry was also involved in the original negotiations and formation of ProLiance in 1996. Before coming to ProLiance, Terry spent 18 years with Citizens Gas & Coke Utility, where he held previous positions of Vice President of Operations for Citizens Energy Services Corporation, Director of Gas Supply, and Director of Engineering. Terry holds a J.D. from the Indiana University School of Law, an M.B.A. from the University of Indianapolis and a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

David Pentzien
Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Operations
David is responsible for leading the sales, marketing, operations and customer service groups across ProLiance's fifteen state sales territory. David has spent his entire professional career in the energy industry, including Vice President of Marketing and Market Development at Columbia Gas Transmission, Chief Engineer for a pipeline contractor and as an engineer within General Electric's Power Systems Division.

David has a Bachelors degree from Iowa State University, a Masters degree from Stanford University, and is a registered professional engineer in the State of Nebraska. He serves as the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Indiana Repertory Theatre.

John Swatek
Vice President of Trading
John is responsible for ProLiance Energy’s financial and physical trading. John joined ProLiance in 2009, bringing with him years of experience in various segments of the energy industry including: production, distribution, and trading. Most recently, John worked for Avant Capital Management. John has also worked for Cinergy Marketing & Trading, Dominion Resources, Reliant Energy Services, and Koch Gas Services.

John has a Bachelors degree in Economics and an M.B.A. with a concentration in Finance from the University of Colorado - Boulder.

 

Scott Wright
Vice President of Corporate Development
Scott is responsible for ProLiance’s corporate development which includes strategic planning, financial planning, and forecasting related to ProLiance Energy and ProLiance Transportation and Storage. Scott also directs the company’s business development function. Scott has been involved in energy marketing and trading for over 12 years at ProLiance and has worked previously in strategic planning, market and economic analysis, and marketing at A.T. Kearney Management Consulting, the Midwest Research Institute (National Renewable Energy Lab), and Pacific Gas and Electric Co.

Scott has a Bachelors degree in Engineering from Purdue University and an interdisciplinary Masters degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
